About SASMA
Synthetic & Art Silk Mills’ Association Ltd. (SASMA) is the oldest organization in the Country representing Man-made Textile Industry. SASMA was established in 1939-40 and is registered under the Companies Act. It has been providing yeoman service to the Man-made Textile Industry for Eight and half decades. SASMA is the parent organization in the man-made Textile Industry and is instrumental in establishing The Synthetic & Art Silk Mills’ Research Association (SASMIRA), The Rayon Mills Commercial Corporation Ltd. (RMCC), Rayex (India) Ltd. (RAYEX), and Federation of Indian Art Silk Weaving Industry (FIASWI).
AIM and OBJECTIVES OF ASSOCIATION
To promote and protect the Trade, Commerce, Industries and Manufacturers of India in general and with special reference to Silk and Man Made Fabrics and Yarns and their products,
Manufacture of silk, man-made or To aid stimulate and promote the development of Trade, Commerce and Industries in India with special reference to natural fibres and yarns which are known at present or may hereafter be known, invented or produced and their products.
To watch over and protect the general commercial interest of India or any part thereof and the interests of persons and concerns engaged in Trade, Commerce or Industry of man-made fibres and yarns and their products and allied trade and industries in particular.
